EDIT 2: Seems like trying to sign in wont work, just does the loading animation and nothing else.

FINAL EDIT: Seems like the user just took the github script for the main page of scratch and tried to make it their own.

OKAY ACTUAL FINAL EDIT: The user basically pulled an internet archive as the discussion forum topics are from yesterday.

Okay, that's just creepy, maybe make an alt account and try signing in? I would sign in to but I don't want to get hacked… Also note that the scratch API for everything is a little late when not signed in for some reason, so that may not be an internet archive thing… Still, it's really creepy…

Just did some more digging around and found that the website in question is hosted by a free dns hosting website called ClouDNS

It's been around for a bit aswell, seeing as on UrlScan.io, it was submitted on November 16th last year.


also i have the ip address of the user who made it now :)

Also on this image, take a look and youll see that the creation date of this project is 2000!


This is weird.


Ima investigate some more, as this is obviously not a Scratch Team made thing.

So far every IP Lookup website said that the IP belongs to someone in Los Angeles, California.


Basically nowhere NEAR MIT


URLSCAN.IO Also said the domain was made in 2014!


So this is probably abandoned as well!
Just looked at downloads page and the ANDROID download link is there. SO its probably abandoned but the site updates whenever scratch does, or maybe the user still knows this exists! The world may never know..

I just reported this topic for the ST to see, but honestly, I doubt that this is a huge issue.

I'm recommend staying away from this site for now, as it could be trying to phish you and/or give you malware. Make sure to scan your computer with a good antivirus and use a good web browser, like Google Chrome or Firefox. I also found a site the other day to the ST that was giving out passwords to Scratch accounts.

when i go to the fake scratch website and log in to my account it didn't work even theres no projects in the front page
