This feature should work like this:
If you are on your project page, you see it as everyone else does in the controls and credits. BUT, if you click the text box you can edit it

Support! This makes sense and would be extremely helpful for people to check their formatting and links.

SUPPORT!!!
I would love this feature so I can see how my formatting and tags and stuff look and like, click the links I put in my descriptions without having to copy-paste them or whatever.

Yes, I remember when I was putting hashtags in my projects and I thought they weren't working until I signed out. Also I was going to make a topic about this after I went through the suggestions from overnight until I found this one, so full support, I would really like to have this be a feature in Scratch.

YES!! To test links, I have to sign into an alt and that is too much of a hassle to test only one link sometimes. However, I must ask, where would the button be? There is no room on a profile/studio description. For projects, it could be by the “Add to studio” and “Report” buttons. But what about profiles and studio descriptions where there is no room for it without it looking out of place?

Not that I don't support this, it would be a nice little quality of life update, but can't you just open up an incognito tab and go to your project/profile in it?
