You scared me

I was thinking that projects that do the exact same thing every time, like https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/304708919/ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/302552708/ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/302336756/ or https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/368366803/ shouldn't be added to the studio because they would clog it up. We could provide links to other studios that are specifically for those kinds of projects. What do you guys think?

So basically no fractals, patterns, or simple pen art projects that generate the same thing every time? So basically we are going for art that regenerates differently every time the script runs?

Hmm, actually, I've changed my mind a little. I don't think we should be adding any “1 Line Challenge”-types, nor any common fractals like Sierpinski triangles, but I don't see why not to include it if and only if it is one of a kind and original. Most of the simpler pen patterns should be excluded though.
A lot of generative art has a random element to it, but not all of it has to. To be generative, it only has to be produced by some algorithm or formula.

yea pretty much @SBissay has some great generative art, he inspired me to make more pen projects

Yeah, @SBissay is awesome! I think he's inactive though. His Steiner inellipses project gave me the idea to create one of my triangle fillers.

Yeah. So we're going to say no one line challenge types of projects or fractals? Because fractals are generated by algorithms…

I was thinking about taking my scratch cat galaxy generative art and turning it into a project that draws the scratch cat in generative art multiple different ways. Any feedback?

Fractals like Sierpinski Triangle and others shouldn't count. But if someone has a more generative fractal we can include it.

I wonder if you could find a parametric equation to generate Scratch Cat's outline…
