Public Relations Officer: (Negotiates and reviews partnerships with other shops, joins and reviews shop directories and shop web, advertises shop, devises advertising strategy for shop, acts as spokesperson for the shop to external shops and users, generally helps out with anything involving other shops and/or people or groups outside of this shop) FloatingMuffins

10. Human Resources Manager: (Hires and fires members, resolves disputes between members, communicating with employees (updating them on their profile about major shop events and their job performance/activity), manages the staff points system) popsyrabbit

Requirements to be a staff member:

• You must be a Scratcher.
  

• You must be following this thread.
  

• You must have read the terms. Found in the “Information for Staff” section.
  

The Terms

• You must include the word ‘muffins’ in your application form.
  

• Please don't spam. Repeated spam will result in a strike being given to you / a demotion / fired.
  

• If you are on the Board of Directors and not performing well you may get demoted to a lower position or removed from the BoD.
  

• If you are on the Board of Directors you must follow the BoD studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/25837427/.
  

• All shop members must follow the shop studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/25837428/
  

• Our unclaimed orders list has a limit of 20 orders.
  

Activity Check
Activity checks will be conducted roughly 3-6 weeks. There will be no exact timeframes for these checks but you will always have a week to respond. If you fail to respond, you will receive a strike. If you get 4 strikes you are fired. If you respond to three checks in a row, you are eligible to have a strike removed.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors manage the day to day running of the shop and suggest and vote on new shop rules and suggestions in the board studio. The BoD is chosen by elections and appointees by the President.
Shop decisions are made by the BoD. The process for new rules/laws in the shop is as follows:
1. A suggestion must be proposed by one member and seconded by another.
2. It is debated on by the BoD.
3. It is voted on by the BoD. It must get at least 50% support to pass. If there is a tie, the chairman has the casting vote.
