'sage' function (sage=don't bump)
Less than %1 of scratch uses the forums, I think this isn't any worse than the way projects are set up.Yeah, but providing another medium to do so? I'm somewhat worried that this could quickly derail conversations even though it doesn't bring the topic up for attention.True, I don't think this is a big issue, people can still post their email and other sovial media connections on scratch, which would be much easier way to message privately.I mean, it is possible to use projects for private chat, because projects don't get bumped when you comment. Same goes for forums.Nobody said anything about projects. Your projects don't get bumped when you comment.

umm… what? projects and forums are pretty much different. there are too few similarities to compare projects to forums and vice versa. Your projects don't get bumped when you comment.
anyway, yes, it could be used as a more secret way to talk to someone, but it's still a bit public. and i don't understand why someone wouldn't want to bump their topic other than this. but no support as per i stated in previous sentence.

It seems like a feature like this would be pretty obscure and not commonly used. I think we'll pass, for now. Thanks for your suggestion though - keep thinking There are some times where i don't want to bump a topic, So I would like a sage function (name from 5ch) if your post has “sage” written in it, then the topic doesn't bump, if there's no “sage” in your post the topic bumps
