I'm a bit confused. Indeed, this is a really good endeavor, but I'm guessing it functions by simply helping new Scratchers who come here without any outreach?

Yes. It's also meant to help them figure out what blocks do.

The forums are pretty secluded, though. I don't expect many would be able to get here easily, especially with forums being a completely new concept if they're young – they may get discouraged for being kindly scolded and never come back.
