AR? AT? DMAC? MAP?
What are all these abbreviations? I realize most artists use these on their profile! I am not sure and I need to know! I know what a MAP is but what does it stand for?

Does anyone know what “DT” stands for? And what is the difference between AT and DT?

DT stands for design trade. You make an oc and trade with another person for THEIR design! ^^ While art trade is based on the actual ART. It doesn’t have to have a design that the other person will own, but it it’s based on , like I said, the art itself. Does anyone know what “DT” stands for? And what is the difference between AT and DT?

“Draw Me Art Contest” would be DTIYS, or Draw This In Your Style.

ok so a couple of these have already answered but i'll explain all the abbreviations @Awesome_Cheetahcorn pointed out
MAP - Multi-Animator Project. Several different people make small animations, which are all stringed together to make a final product. This usually comes in the form of songs, where different parts of the song are animated by different people in order to get a music video.
MEP - Multi-Editor Project. I have no idea lol
DMC - Draw My Character. A contest where participants must draw a character of the host's. The host will later assess all the entries and see which ones they like best - and the creators of the winning entries will get prizes (follows, loves, favorites, etc.)
DMAC - Draw Me A Character. A contest where participants think of and draw a character design. The host will later assess all the entries and see which designs they like best. The creators of the winning entries will also get prizes.
DTIYS - Draw This In Your Style. A contest (i think?) where participants draw something that the host chooses in their art style. The host will assess the entries, blah blah blah, you get the point.
DTA - Draw To Adopt. Participants will draw a design created by the host. The host will assess all entries, and the artists of the winning entries will earn rights to the characters, as well as some prizes (sometimes).
OTA - Offer To Adopt. Several designs will be posted by the host. If someone is interested in a design, they must offer to draw something for the host (a drawing of a character of theirs, a new design, etc. etc.) The person who completes the best offer will earn rights to the character.
AT - Art Trade. Two people will draw stuff for each other, nothing to it.
DT - Design Trade. Two people will make character designs for each other.
Collab - Collaboration. At least two people will work together on a project. This can be literally anything - a game, a piece of art, a song, etc.
OC - Original Character. A character made by someone.
MAP - Multi-Animator Project. Several different people make small animations, which are all stringed together to make a final product. This usually comes in the form of songs, where different parts of the song are animated by different people in order to get a music video.
