Hello Fellow Scratchers

I've recently been puzzled by the lack of a dark mode option in Scratch 3.
I, however, thought I wasn't the only one with this query and was wondering if anyone had made a mod or extension that changes the scratch GUI.

The addition of such a feature would be quite helpful as it would create a better coding environment, reduce battery life on OLED screens and most importantly, look cool.

So if you know of any program that does this or a way I can get this working, please reply to this post. Thanks !

I have a userscript that does that but unfortunately I can't share it due to a Scratch Team policy.

I have a really awesome one!

(But I can't share it cuz of ‘the policy’)

i have a good one, you'll have to be on chrome, though. simply search on google (removed by moderator - please don't name browser extensions)

or in windows you can press left alt + left shift + print screen to turn on high contrast. the unwanted side effect is that all the colors are inverted.

I thought dark mode was an in built option

No, only light mode, but there's a dark mode you can test here:

To activate it, you have to use inspect and put in some console code though.
