Here's a place to talk about the “manufactured” ‘60s boy band made for TV, the Monkees! Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Mike Nesmith, and Peter Tork, 4 wacky boys trying to make it big, and in real life, they did! They had 3 No.1 albums in a single year and were loved around the world, doing international tours.

If you don't know who they are, look them up! I strongly recommend their music if you're into similar bands of the era, but to some they're too “bubblegum”. They are definitely more than what you might initially think, though.

Bumping this. There aren't a lot of Monkees projects on here so I didn't think anyone would know about them, but just in case. I love talking about them!!!

I LOVE The Monkees soooo much. I am a huge Beatles fan and people told me to watch the show. So I watched it and I loved it soooo much!!!
Now I am a huge Monkee fan!

The Monkees! I love The Monkees so much my favorite song is pleasant valley Sunday and my favorite episode is a fairy tale!

I love four old shows. The Monkees, The Partridge family, the Brady bunch and the Carol Burnett show The Monkees is my favorite though.
I love a lot of bands, The Doors, The Who, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin etc.
