I am trying to make an animation but when I put in a .mp3 file in my project, I wasn't able to delete anything! not even the smallest part! this is very annoying and it happens almost every time i put in a .mp3 file into my project!

Hmmm. So how long is the sound? And try the controls you can do to find a way to do it.

I think this is a known bug. Sounds over a certain length or filesize can't be edited unless you use the Cut tool to reduce it's length to an acceptable measure… or something. I go through this issue a lot, and right now the workaround is to just edit it in an external audio editing software.

I have the same problem.

I think its becuase the file is to big to edit and scratch will crash if they did not have this bug.
