Blocks from older versions were removed for good reasons. Two examples -

set [ripple v] effect to () // It was "water ripple" or just "ripple", not exactly sure

This took an enormous amount of memory to create, and was incredibly laggy and buggy. That's why this effect was removed.

This block was removed since it could never be stopped, according to the Scratch Wiki.
You're saying that Scratch 1.4 existed but never existed.

Well, Gobo can be used as Sprite1 if you install Scratch 1.4, and change it.

Why is this topic changing into a spamming chamber?

Please, anyone else reading this, don't post irrelevant stuff and stick to the subject.

I'm sticking with the opinion I had on my alt.

Although this could be useful, I think we don't need the beta versions. They could be laggy and don't have many features - but the normal versions can come because a lot of people could find them useful for experiencing the old ways of coding on Scratch.

Sorry,what?

Typing like this, “Hi, My Name Is Nammy” is discouraged in the discussion forums. And also, you can't put videos on Scratch, only projects. And you can't use blocks to go to older versions.

There appears to be a build which is later than the March 14, 2005 build. In the Scratch Wiki, it says the build is from January 2005, which is most likely proven false. The correct date of this build could probably be from March to May 2005. The .IMAGE file for this build is undumped as far as we know.
In this build, the block design starts to resemble that of later beta builds and Scratch 1.x. “Stretch” blocks are apparent here and they have already appeared as back as the October 13, 2004 build; the blocks have been removed in the following build from May 28, 2005. There is also no “say nothing” block in this build.
