*looks to see how many times in the manual it says “math” and realizes you meant math equationsI've recently been looking into the manual for Simon Stores, one of the hardest modules in the game. (Don't look at the link unless you want to get very confused.) I was able to decipher a bit of it, maybe the first half or so, but it only gets harder. Once I meet up with somebody, I want to try to program something to solve it with them. It won't be in Scratch because it'll probably be too complicated.
I saw Math and decided I was too tired to read that right now.
I'm pretty sure I don't even know what some of the math means. I also read that you have to transmit the answer in balanced ternary, and I had to look it up just to see what balanced ternary is. (Basically, it's a number system where everything is converted to 1, 0, and -1.)

I don't actually have the game, but if I did get it, I would most likely get it on my phone. It's significantly cheaper and I should be able to play it wherever I go. I wonder if it also supports mods, but so far, that seems like something only the Steam version is capable of.
The main place I go to watch KTaNE is on Twitch, where there are multiple Twitch Plays streams, such as this one. I don't have a Twitch account right now, so I can't actually participate, but I like to sometimes look at the manual for a certain module and try to solve it myself.

I may be learning how to do Simon Stores, but I am not going to learn UltraStores. Both involve complex math, but that part isn't too hard for me. The main reason I'm not able to learn UltraStores is because I don't know how to identify the rotated axes, but that part doesn't really matter to anyone reading this. Simon Stores and UltraStores are two of the most math-based modules in the entire game, and also some of the hardest modules in the game.
It takes bravery just to look at and try to understand the Simon Stores manual, but the UltraStores manual is something else.

I was looking at random manuals and found these gems:I think I might have actually seen that manual before, I just don't remember which module it's for. (I actually haven't read through it before seeing your post; I did find the module, though, and it's the Yellow Arrows module.) There are also a few other manuals with those types of rules, but I can't remember any specific ones. There's one manual where the conditions and actions actually move around and switch places, although it doesn't actually make the rules different. I'm talking about this module.

There's a module ( https://ktane.timwi.de/HTML/The%20Witness.html ) where you have to figure out the rules based on pictures instead of the module just telling you how to solve it, which is annoying. I've played the game that the module is based on, but it might be annoying for people who haven't played it.

At least if you can comprehend the Simon Stores manual, you already know more than half of what you have to do for UltraStores. The number of variables used when trying to solve the module is also amazing: 26 different variables in total, counting each subscript as one variable. And I'm pretty sure UltraStores isn't even known as the hardest module, just probably the most math-based one.…but the UltraStores manual is something else.Eh, I'll take a look at the manual, it can't be that ba- 64 FLOATING DISCS? So I tried to design a module through an AI text generator, but the closest I got to anything useful was this:

Keep in mind that this was after several attempts and multiple other strings of text fed into the generator.
Update: I think I might've gotten something useful!

Update 2: Module is made, find the manual here. Bad mockup of what it would look like:
It would be nice if someone coded this, wink wink nudge nudge tap tap push push shove shove

I actually have quite a few module ideas, it's just that I haven't made any of them into actual modules. I also have a few ideas on making improvements on your manual: for example, since there are 6 stages, each stage could use a different character in the serial number.

The different presses don't actually change the numbers, the text generator says to tap the phone number 6 times. But yeah, if I were to polish the module, I'd do that.

This module has 32 pages. If there was just one more component in Step 1, it'd be longer than Color Talk. The maker was so close to breaking a record.*Colo(u)r Talk
I'm actually trying to learn that module you provided a link to. As long as you can comprehend each and every section, you'll be prepared for anything it'll give you.
There are a lot of modules being released this month. I sometimes look at the newest ones and try to learn them. I also have many other modules that I think are just outside my skill level that I might try to learn when I have time. I don't know which I should do first: learn some or all of the modules on my list, or try to make my own modules. I have a lot of modules to learn, but also a lot of ideas for modules, most of which I can post here.

And now for the worst module ever. Yes, even worse than The Fortnight. Not only is the manual a pain to read, but it's stupidly easy to solo. It might as well be a big “solve” button. At least The Fortnight required effort to solve.

OK, my dreams created a module. Here goes.
When you activated the module (it had a blue background), it showed you a picture of a forest with squirrels on the trees for a short amount of time, indicated by a timer on the module. The defuser had to click on the squirrels before the time on the module ran out, or else the module would strike and become unsolvable while showing a symbol against a black background (I think). The defuser then had to describe the picture to the expert. When the timer on the module expired, it would switch to where you would input your answer. It would show some pictures that you could cycle through, with a phrase on the right. The defuser had to tell this phrase to the expert, then the expert had to describe what picture is correct to the defuser. However, on the defuser's side, the pictures were pixelated. I think that the pictures on the expert's side were pixelated even more.

And also, this happened. A Simon module that combines other Simon modules. It hasn't been officially released yet, but it seems like it's close.

When I was looking through the Keypad module, I found out that all of the symbols are images, and if you choose “Open image in new tab”, then the URL shows the name that the developers gave each of the symbols. For example, the one below the copyright symbol is called “pumpkin” and the one two above the bottom left corner is called “squidknife”.
