So, this game I made has a moderately large community, and I made a discord server for it! So, can I link my server in the project? It’s a totally PG server, and it would be really cool if I could link it, so that people who play the game can join the server and hang out with other players! Thank you!

Unfortunately no, since Discord itself contains unmoderated chat. The Scratch Team is very strict about this; even if your particular server is well-moderated, you still can't link it.

@-ShadowOfTheFuture- Oh man, that’s quite the shame y’know! But, I get why discord servers aren’t allowed on here, scratch is for kids after all, altought some teens do use it as well.

The Discord terms of service state that you must be 13 or older in order to use Discord. Therefore it is clear that Discord is not a website suitable for all ages, unlike Scratch.

Even aside from that, Discord has private messaging and unmoderated chat, which is an Internet safety concern.

You can try doing the opposite - that is, linking the Scratch project in your Discord server.

What I think they're doing though is that they've made a Discord server for their Scratch projects since those have a rather large community to them, and asking if people who are part of that community on Scratch could come to Discord. While you can certainly link Scratch projects on Discord, I believe that their goal was to advertise the server on Scratch so that people would join on it, otherwise no one would be on it to see links to Scratch projects being posted there.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Discord has unmoderated chat, private messaging, and I'm pretty sure some other stuff that makes it a big no-no for Scratch.
