Bring back the Remix Tree Button! [READ BEFORE REPLYING!!!]
You can still access it here: scratch.mit.edu/projects/PROJECTID/remixtree
But yes, I agree that it should be brought back.

I don't see why it would have been removed, I find it in someway practical.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems that the remix tree visualisation is gone in Scratch 3.0.
Please bring it back!
In the mean time, has anyone made their own, using the public-facing APIs?
The page still exists (*/remixtree), so all that's needed (in theory) is an accessible button to link to it.
While we're at it, please add a link to the forums in the header, not just the footer.

Support.
I had a topic that was closed as a duplicate, so here's my opinion:
Part 1: Introduction
I want the Remix Tree (to be more specific, its button) to come back to Scratch. It was a useful feature. Now, to access it I must type “/remixtree” to the end of the project URL. I feel like a large amount of users will not know how to do this, and for users who joined post-3.0 will not know a “Remix Tree” even existed.
Part 2: Redesign
The remix tree hasn't had any redesigns from 2.0 to 3.0. It would be cool if Scratch Team modified the graphics, but also added some features.
Part 3: No, it's not unnecessary
It is much easier to use than navigating through loads of trash remixes in a grid. It was good to find out the good remixes, and the people who are just screwing up the project (and then someone else making a remix of that remix, screwing it up even further).
Part 3.5: Unnecessary ≠ Useless ≠ Removed
The Remix Tree is ALREADY THERE, so there is no harm in adding it back in. Someone could make a Firefox extension that adds the button back in, and that would be it.

We could simply remove the “My Profile”, “My Stuff”, “Messages”, the link at the bottom that links to the discussion forums…2. No Support. Just do this:That is not a valid point. But all of these buttons are used very often (and the link at the bottom is very important to the forum users), and the “Remix Tree” button was removed due to “lack of usage and necessity”.
The message above may contain wrong information, rude remarks, or something embarrassing to my current self. In this case, please ignore it and remember that I likely wrote it back when I didn't know what “respect” truly meant. I really hate thinking about it again.

It was a good visualisation of all the remixes of a project, along with remixes of remixes and so on, and it worked best on projects that heavily used remixing such as collaboration projects or those remix project things that get on front page for being top remixed. I think it would be better if the Remix Tree was not updated to Scratch 3 though, since not many people used it often (I know I didn't). However, if someone wants to, they may be able to make their own remix tree program using the Scratch API, and if so, I'd say that's the way to go.We could simply remove the “My Profile”, “My Stuff”, “Messages”, the link at the bottom that links to the discussion forums…2. Although that's true, the reason the user wrote in his/her post is not a reason. It would have been a reason if it was “it's not very used”, but not “you can add * at the end”. Almost every button on the homepage leads to a page that has this URL: the “Remix Tree” button was removed due to “lack of usage and necessity”.https://scratch.mit.edu/* where * stands for the added parameter, but we still have them.
What I'm trying to say is NOT that we should bring the Remix Button back, but that “you can go there by writing * in the URL” is not a reason.

You can easily just type in /remixtree at the end of the URL of the project ID.
