I've recently bee in the mood for heart-breaking/sweet/cute anime series. (Of course having a little humor in them is always great x3)

As far as sad anime series have gone, I've already watched CLANNAD, CLANNAD After Story, and Angel Beats. I've also watched Fruits Basket, (I cried quite a few times in it :'D) But that's pretty much it for heart-wrenching anime series xD

SO if you have any sweet/sad/cute anime series that can possibly make me cry for hours straight, feel free to tell me the name! Nothing to horror-like, nothing that has a tom of blood everywhere (I can handle a ton of blood. I'm just not in the mood for gore xD). SOmething sweet, again, like the anime series I listed above. ^^

I was going to suggest Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 version, I think Brotherhood is better but not as sad in this case) because it is sometimes downright shattering, but you said without a ton of blood.

Elfen Lied made me some more then Angel Beats and Madoka Magica was also sad to me, I hurd Anohana was sad too.

I've only started watching Madoka Magica, I'll definitely keep watching >w<

Pokemon used to be sad but in my opinion the show is junk now. It used to be emotional, and have meaning to it. You really cared for the characters. Not anymore…

Remember when Ash got rid of Butterfree, and almost Pikachu? Very sad.

DX Oh no! I'd hate everyone getting rid of their pokemon!!!

I watched the end of Chrono Crusade and that was really sad.
And I know it's a movie but Grave of the Fireflies is so heartbreaking.

I'd Recommend Attack on Titan. That is, if you can find it in english xD.

I was gonna say all that you mentioned upon reading the title…oh well.

Mekakucity Actors is funny, but also really dramatic and sad.
Madoka Magica is a dark fantasy, kinda horror, but not much blood.

No.It is still emotional and sad

I watch fairy tail, its always hilarious, but if you want it to be SAD, go either to episode 40- 60 something, or go to the part where lucy dies and so on. ITS SO SAD. SERIOUSLY.I CRIED. I NEVER CRY! (unless im afraid or in pain)
something else that's sad is death note. there is no gore, but a lot of death (kinda obvious ), and kind bloody at the last episode, and it makes me sad how the guy dies .
also sad, magi. the full name is magi: the labyrinth of magic, or magi: the kingdom of magic, but that's beside the point. its so sad, you'll cry. a lot.but that's ok its funny and great so please keep them in mind

THERES ALSO ATTACK ON TITAN!!!!!

Just watch an awesome anime series, all the way to the series finale. You feel sorta empty inside when you realize that there's no more of the story left.
