Am I allowed to phrase games as "bullet hell" games or is that innapropriate?
The title says it all basically, The genre of games I'm wanting to make on scratch is bullet hell games like I did on my older account, I may have asked this on my older account as well but I don't exactly remember and times may have changed. What I'm wanting to know is if it's bad to put “bullet hell” as a tag or something in the description, because of the word that can be considered a naughty word. Just wanting to know of course.

Oh, and also I'm thinking of making a game titled “Just your average bullet hell” at some point, so that could be fit into the question of “is it allowed” as well.

While “hell” is likely a borderline word for Scratch, I think it's still fine to use in some contexts. In the context you're using, it's being used to describe a genre of game where a player shoots against enemies with an excessive amount of bullets on screen, so I don't think it'd be an issue.

I actually have a game called bullet hell so I think it's fineJust because both of you guys have projects with the name “bullet hell” or a derivative of that doesn't necessarily mean it could be fine to use. I personally believe it's fine in the context provided, however I think it's best to see some other opinions, especially from the ST on this.

I honestly don't know. As CatsUnited said, it basically depends on the context. Although Scratch's bad word algorithms don't care about the context the word is being used in, so in my opinion you might get into some trouble.

If it was inappropriate, wouldn't there be some sort of alert saying that they can't name the project that? I'm assuming that the project title area uses the same filter as what the comments use, and comments can sometimes alert you if a comment contains inappropriate words in it. I honestly don't know. As CatsUnited said, it basically depends on the context.
