The Scratch Team has done many amazing things for us over the years. The Scratch Team moderates the website, making sure it's safe for everyone, they keep the forums in check, they develop the website, and overall keep the website running smoothly. Without them, this website would have gone down years ago. I am so glad we get to have amazing people to help keep Scratch amazing for everyone. That's why, I am happy to introduce a new annual event that hopefully, a lot of fellow Scratchers will participate in:
Scratch Team Appreciation Day - November 9th, 2019.

On this date, I hope many Scratchers will participate in giving the appreciation the Scratch Team deserves. What you can do on this date is simply go on one of the Scratch Team's member's profile and comment on why you appreciate them, and thank them for keeping Scratch a safe place for everyone.

I hope I can convince you to join me at this annual event. If you do support this event, please share something a Scratch Team member did for you, or share this topic with other people so that this may spread throughout Scratch.
