How come password is allowed then? Password also has the non-domesticated-donkey word in it (that’s the actual meaning of the word, it’s not just another word for donkey).Probably passcode containing a word which Scratch might deem inappropriate. This signature is kumquat-proof, but it is not loquat-proof…
Sorry, the rest of this signature is eaten by an evil loquat.

“Openish” for some reason triggers the filterbot.
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Saying “Support” or “No Support” doesn't contribute anything to the conversation.
A question that has already been answered doesn't need to be answered twice with the same answer - bring something new to the table.

Delete the o and the h, then you'll see why. “Openish” for some reason triggers the filterbot.

But what if it WASN'T a phone number? The phone number filter removes strings of numbers of certain lengthsSo does that explain why every time I type a bunch of numbers it replaces it with X's? Bear in mind that some words can't be fixed - because they might have multiple meanings- but this is a good idea as I can follow this topic and I'll get a message when there is a filter issue.
Perhaps you could add a few words to explain what the filter is so people aren't confused by this topic?
The filter is a program that looks at comments, studio descriptions, project instructions and so on looking for inappropriate words. Currently, it is not looking at words typed in the forums, which makes this a good place to discuss it. There is a much simpler filter that works in the forums - but it is hard-coded and not easy to change.
The Scratch Wiki has a bit on the filter too: https://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Censor

But short of mega-long strings maybe could be removed from the filter, like 12345, or 12345678901234567890123456789023456789012345678901234567890Yeah. Some people do 000-000-0000 or 0000000000. What about this example “my phone number is the last 10 numbers of 11111110000000000.” Or “my phone number is 000 and 000 and 0000 together .”But short of mega-long strings maybe could be removed from the filter, like 12345, or 12345678901234567890123456789023456789012345678901234567890Yeah.
