whenever I try to save a project, it'll just show me the “project could not save” message and I have no idea on how to fix it.

How big is the project? I believe the maximum size limit is 10 MB, once you reach that you can't save, unless you do something to reduce the size.

clicking the option to download states 33 mb. i dont know if its 100% accurate, but ill do what i can.

If you have music, try compressing it to .MP3.

Last time I checked it was a 10 MB limit per asset (costumes, sounds), with a 10 MB total limit for the project code (scripts, lists & variables). It is unlikely you passed the project code limit, so you should check each asset to see if it is under 10 MB.

mostly have trouble adding text and then saving.

While the asset limit is 10 MB, the limit for the project.json file (where all the coding is located) is 5 MB.
@unIucky Do you have any large audio files in the project? I suggest either shortening those or converting them to MP3s to save space

You can import a png or i think jpeg, making sure its under 512 kilobytes and under 500x500 pixels, than you can tap by your pfp, and just choose the image you wanna use.
