Here I am, Scratch, a place to get away from the horrors of LBP. But after a bit of time and exploration, apparently the two games are having the same problem. There's a F4F in Scratch, and a H4H in LBP… The person who brought this problem and is probably spreading it further, you are SICK. Your making people stop putting work into projects, and getting them to go onto peoples projects and write F4F. No work, just one single comment. Poor Scratch, poor World…

How is this a suggestion?

I dont know! I guess its a way to let people know this isn't the only place where desperate people run around asking for “favorites”.

I don't judge, don't worry. Scratch is suppose to be a place for nice people… Right?

And, no I'm not suggesting that. Actually I didn't know this was in the suggestions…. It was put in the suggestions by itself. Umm… Anyone know how to fix that?

You have to report your original post and ask for it to be moved. But I don’t think this topic fits in the forums…

^^^^ this. I would suggest a studio about this if anything.

I do think that people have a ability to help people understand that we should try to make things. And also this is a game about making lines of code and other things, for fun! Getting “favorites” and “hearts” and “being followed” is a way for Scratch to tell the creator that people like their projects! And we should to let people know that they don't need these. This isn't a life or death situation, its just a game!

Nice idea! Though It would make no sense to put this near a studio just for memes.

I just barely learned about the forums. I may not be new to Scratch but this section of it I am.

Well… if I were you I would make a studio about this. Studios are a better choice for this kind of topic than the forums.

Just because you have a studio irrelevant to your newest one doesn't mean they will think its fake. State clearly thats it not a joke.

Yeah, this has existed about as long as Scratch has. We've made efforts to de-emphasize numbers like follower counts, but ultimately it's something some people will fixate on. If you have any suggestions on how to minimize this behavior, please let us know! I'm closing this thread however, because it doesn't seem to be an idea the Scratch Team can act on. Thanks!
