The New Super Mario Topic WII (note: not just for Super Mario Wii)
It's kind of hard for me to decide. The levels I died the most on were 1-1 on New Super Mario Bros. (Seriously, it's true, but in my defense, I started playing when I was two years old.) Do Moons count?
If so, that 2D Moon from the Mushroom Kingdom. I can't beat it and it's roadblocking me getting back to Super Mario Odyssey.
And I haven't even TRIED the Breakdown Road Capless Backwards Moon.
Despite having owned a DS as a kid, I never got to play New Super Mario Bros. so I don't really have much of an experience of not being able to play a Mario game, since by the time I had played an actual Mario game I knew how platfomers worked.
Instead, I had the far superior game called Dr Kawashima's Brain Training

I think I have that that as well. If I can find my old cartridge, I'll see if I can find my old Brain Training save file that I would've made sometime in the summer of 2007.Well, I had Dr Kawashima's Instead, I had the far superior game called Dr Kawashima's Brain TrainingM O R E Brain Training

In my country, it's called Brain Age: Concentration Training.

That's exactly what I was thinking as well. This isn't the toys thread New Pooper Mario Bros. Pii
There's probably some computer generated kids content that has made that somewhere in the depths of Youtube.

Mario 3D World was the first game I ever truly beat. I'd played video games since I was 3 but it took me until I was 12 to finally strive to get to the end of something for once.
Even now I have a bad habit of just dropping a game halfway through. I've only beaten 18 out of the 47 games I own that have some form of end point.
I remember it being the first thing I ever truly bought for myself when I was 9, since my allowance money would usually just sit in a jar (and most of it's probably still there, me having an allowance was very brief and even now I rarely buy things). I remember feeling buyer's remorse afterward and overreacting as a child that age would sometimes do and my dad took it away for a couple days because of it.
I remember the December evening I beat it, it was only days before Christmas, the house had that glow that you only can sense during the holidays, I inched closer and closer to Bowser's Carnival castle thing as I got more anxious. I knew it wasn't hard, the rest of the game hadn't been too difficult, but I was about to beat a video game for once, something I had never felt before. I remember the smile on my face when the credits rolled.
That Christmas my parents decided to make the big decision of getting me my first phone, a small little gray thing I used for what was probably too long. My body started changing drastically, my responsibilities changed, the weight of the world was pressing harder on my shoulders each day. Sure, I was and still am a kid, but I'll never be that kind of kid again. The days of a squeaky voice and being upset over getting my shirt wet are over, mostly for the better, but there are little pieces of it I miss.
Since then I've beaten other games, some big, some small. My first post here was even about me beating Mario U in like 2 days. 3D World isn't my favorite out the bunch, or even my favorite Mario game I've beaten. There's something about that first time you ever see the credits of a game roll that I don't think can be replaced. It just so happened to be Mario so I can make some stupid post about it here in a mostly dead forum, but that's alright.

Huh, cool! I love 3D World. It's honestly better than the New series in my opinion, as I think the New games are a little too safe. Mario 3D World was the first game I ever truly beat. I honestly can't remember the first game I beat, but I remember running into the first goomba over and over in NSMBDS. I even asked relatives to help me with 1-1.
The first Mario game I was good at was Wii I think. But now I replay NSMBDS sometimes, and I'm actually kinda stuck on World 8.

Fandom (also known as “Wikia”) is a terrible place. As you can see, they took a lot of pages from the book of MatPat to write this article. Not all Fandom wikis are bad! Some good ones include the BFDI Wiki, the Invader Zim Wiki, The Amazing World of Gumball Wiki, Encyclopedia Spongebobia, and the Dan-The-Squid Wiki
(Yes, That last one is a joke)
Edit: Oh wait, that’s not a Wiki, that’s just a post
