The message counter doesn't reset when i check it. plz fix.

I have noticed this issue as well and it's happened to me several times. I don't yet know of a consistent way to trigger it or what causes it, but it seems to happen to me more when I open multiple Scratch tabs

The message counter goes away(back to 0) eventually after you view your messages. I think that it doesn't go away immediately just to make sure you know what messages are new and what messages are not new.

I've noticed something similar. This only happens on pages with the 2.0 skin, but sometimes after I've recently viewed a message, the orange counter will still remain on the message icon. Is that what's happening to you?

Yeah but not on just the 2.0 pages

This has been happening to me too (not just with the 2.0-looking pages, either, I think).

Are you able to confirm that this issue is occurring with 3.0 pages as well? I don't seem to have this issue at the moment and I don't often use the part of the website which runs on the newer codebase. From what I've seen, I haven't had any locking on the 3.0 pages (the messages page itself is one of those pages)

yeah, it is weird. i reckon there should be a “clear all messages” button at the top that resets the counter.

This happens to me where I sometimes have to look at /messages two or three times before the counter goes away.

Please don't spam. Anyways, it happens because you didn't clear your cache, and it still shows the old version of the website.
