Alright, so I need help making a blur effect seen on things like the Windows 10 login screen. The picture is normal, but once you open up the login screen the background picture is blurred. I really would like this effect and need some help making it. Thanks in advance!

This has a blur effect you might want. You'll just have to modify it a little.

you also could use some other program to blur the image, and then use that

You can also use the pixelate effect.

You can try making it in vector, then switching it to bitmap, and copy it from bitmap, and add a new costume in vector, paste the thing you just copied, and then switch it to bitmap. I'm not 100% sure this will work, though.

I just tried that(i'm trying to get a blurry effect for a christmas thingy i'm doing) but it didn't work, so either it doesn't work, i did something wrong, or my character is too big. Thanks for the help anyways!

when green flag clicked
forever
create clone of [myself v]
end
when I start as a clone
repeat (20)
change ghost by (-5)
end
delete this clone

It makes a disappearing clone behind it that keeps all z and y axis and current sprite and it lags behind it createing a blur effect (change the speed of ghost if needed)

i heard that there was a block that could make blur bot got removed
