Is there a way to tell if a project is NFE?

Once I saw a project by NilsTheBest in his/her “(insert something here) is illuminati” series and NilsTheBest said in the description that it was marked Not For Everyone (NFE.) I have never seen this before. Is there actually a way to tell if a project is NFE or not?

Currently, not to my knowledge.

@World_Languages made a project that could detect if a project was FE or NFE, but it no longer works in 3.0.

Maybe try asking in Advanced Topics? There may be a way to use inspect element to see whether or not a project is marked NFE, or a different method.

There WAS, but when 3.0. came out, the developers got rid of it.

Not sure. @World_Language's way doesn't work.

It's nice that you're trying to help but this topic is a year old and I doubt that the OP cares about this anymore.

Search for it. If it doesn't show up anywhere in the search results then either you searched incorrectly or it's NFE.

Should I ask the mods to move this to Suggestions? I think I can see where this is going…

Yeah there isn't. There was a method in 2.0 but it was removed, sadly.

Actually, there is a way to tell if a project is NFE, if you try to search it up w/ scratch search, it won't pop up in the search results.

That's not particularly reliable — sometimes it takes a while for projects to show up in the search.

I'm closing this as resolved. The answer is “No, there is no definitive way to tell whether or not a project is NFE.”
