Silk Browser Flickering

Scratch games are working on the Silk Browser on my Kindle, but whenever I play them, the project flickers in a seizure-inducing way. I got a new Kindle because I couldn't find my old one and it wasn't doing it on my old one. How do I fix it?

Oh great. My Fire's cracked. CNR, my Fire's damaged to the point I can't even unlock it.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I think it's just because Scratch isn't supported very well on Silk.

Edit: syntax

As a substitute until the problem is fixed, are you able to install a different browser on a Kindle? I'm not familiar with the Kindle's OS since I don't own one myself, but I'm pretty sure it's just a modified version of Android.
For the problem itself, I tried finding which browser engine it uses and from my research, it appears to be using Blink/V8 for page rendering, which Google Chrome also uses. I think if you go back to an early enough version of Chrome, you would get a similar or the same result as what you've described.

I don't believe you can install another browser on a Fire/Kindle, and I'm pretty certain, because I've had a Kindle Fire for over 2 years. Ironically, on Samsung (also powered by Android) devices, Scratch works perfectly well on those.

This happens because of an outdated WebKit engine, which is known to cause problems with Scratch. However, you can sideload apps onto Kindles, check this link on how to do so: Link

I knew that there was a method of installing Android apps not approved by Amazon's store thing since their OS is basically a modified Android without the Google Play Store.
