Is there a way to know if a song is copyrighted?
I've thinking on using a song (up, Up and Away by the Fifth dimension) But I'm not sure if it's copyrighted. Is there a way to know if a song is copyrighted?

Everything is under copyright (major simplification but whatever). Some music producers allow people to use their songs royalty free - even without express permission first. If there is no definitive answer for if you are allowed to use a piece of music or if it isn't clear what license it's under (Creative Commons grants freedoms in this regards) then it is most likely that said piece of music / song is not free for anyone to use.
