About Us -

The Shop Management Academy is a place where help you build and grow your shop! We have 5 levels where you're ranked. If you're new to shops you will be ranked in level 1. If you already have a shop we will rank your shop and put you and your shop in the level we think you deserve. Don't worry if it's level 1. Together we will help you graduate from each level and help your shop grow and become the well most known shops!

History -

March 2, 2019: Shop Management Academy was created by @BlackWolfee

Sometime in 2019: @BlackWolfee Deleted their account and the Shop Management Academy fell inactive.

August 6-8, 2019: A user called @OlafDolaff posted on the old thread wanting to join.

August 9, 2019: @Panda_Gamer1212 @AFNNetworkK12, @OwenRich, and @jbrow78 all started creating 2.0. @Panda_Gamer1212 might get the official thread due to calling it in the old thread but, it will soon be figured out hopefully not in a flame war.

August 12, 2019: @AFNNetworkK12 propose an idea to merge all of 4 threads. (Mine, @AFNNetwokK12, @OwenRich, and @jbrow78's threads.) And have 1 founder and 3 co-founders. I agreed but, I haven't heard from @OwenRich and @jbrow78 yet.

All Laws Are The Same As 1.0 Laws. (Every Law Containing SSSU Is Removed.)

Student Rights

1.1 Each student is entitled to the respect it deserves.
1.2 Each student will be treated equally and will not be inferior to any other student.
1.3 Each student may represent a shop in the SMA
1.4 No student may be permanently banned from the SMA.
1.5 A student may leave at any time, no matter the circumstances.
1.6 A student can expect not to have their reputation nor that of their shops ruined by the SMA nor by any of its members.
1.7 Students may call into review any term, position or otherwise dictating condition of the SMA

Student Laws

2.1 From the moment a student is admitted they must comply with all the terms.
2.2 Students must respect all other Scratchers and treat them as a human being.
2.3 Students must respect and obey the words of the tutors and assessors.
2.4 Students must not act against the SMA in order to ruin its reputation.
2.5 Students must remain courteous and respectful whilst on the thread and on all sub studios and threads of the SMA.
2.6 Students must include the keyword “AmAzInG!” in their application.
2.7 Students must accept their assessor and their mentor as members of their shop.
2.8 Students must include the following code in the FP of their shops:

Staff Rights

3.1 Every staff member is entitled to be treated with respect.
3.2 Every staff member will be treated equally and will not be inferior to any other member.
3.3 A staff member may leave at any time, no matter the circumstances.

Staff Laws

4.1 From the moment a staff member is admitted they must comply with all the terms.
4.2 Staff members must respect all other Scratchers and treat them as a human being.
4.3 Staff members must respect and obey the words of the President and Vice-President.
4.4 Staff members must not act against the SMA in order to ruin its reputation.
4.5 Staff members must remain courteous and respectful.
4.6 Staff members must include the codeword “AMAZING” in their application.
4.7 Assessors must assess all shops fairly and without bias.
4.8 Tutors must teach their student all the correct material as according to the lesson plans.
4.9 Assessors must become a member of their student's shops.

Inactivity

5.1 All members must remain active and respond to activity checks.
5.2 Leave can be given for as long as the member likes.
5.2.1 Notice must be given for leave.
5.2.2 Whilst a member is on leave they will still be treated as a full member.
5.2.3 For long leave members may be replaced temporarily.

Term Laws

6.1 Terms may change at any time no matter the circumstances and changes must be upheld.
6.2 Terms must be reasonable and fair.
6.2.1 Terms must not restrict the rights of any person in an unfair way.
6.2.2 Terms must be made to treat all people equally.
6.2.3 Terms must not be unnecessary or for other reasons other than to keep order.
6.3 Any member of the SMA may raise a concern with any term.

Student's Report Cards

None!

Level 1

Student gets a teacher.
Student is teached on what make the important parts of a shop.
Student create 3 or more service they can use in their shop.
Student make 3 names and description they can use in their shop.
Student choses 1 name and description. They also create forms for ordering and joining the shop.
Student creates the shop.
Student takes a test on what they learned in level 1.

Level 2

Student is teached the importance of front page design.
Student brainstorms way they can make their front page look better.
Student creates concept illustrations for 3 banners.
Student picks one banner.
Students embellish more parts of their shop.
Student takes a test on what they learned in level 2.

Level 3

Student is teached on the importance of activity and marketing.
Student brainstorm a way to advertise their shop without spamming.
Student practice different marketing techniques to compare results.
Student takes a test on what they learned in level 3.

Level 4

Student in teached the importance of maintenance of a shop.
Student brainstorm ways to motivate activity without orders.
Student designs one of these motivations.
Student use the motivation in their shop.
Student takes a test on what they learned in level 4.

Level 5

Student may attend lessons and help out.
Level 5 students may give small quizes to each other.
Student takes a test on what they learned in level 1-5.
If student fails (15 or under) they will put in the level they need help with.
If student recieves a 15-22 they teach a level 1 student.
If student recieves a 23-30 they teach a level 2 student.
