also snake didn't have codecs for any of the new characters in smash 4

snake wasn't in smash 4, so when snake was added to ultimate, they would've had to do the lines for characters introduced in smash 4 or newer.

I'm worried that the recent shootings and the media blaming video games for it will cause video games to be banned.

I thought I only a certain type of people whom I have a distaste for thought that (I'm not gonna get into any details)

Also this is not the first time video games have been blamed for this kind of thing so I doubt a ban will happen

People have been blaming video games to causing youth violence since the 80s. The reason the ESRB was established in the 90s was because Nintendo and SEGA had a standoff after the public were worried about how ultra-realistic Mortal Kombat and Night Trap looked like on the Sega Genesis and that it would insight violence. People have blamed FPS games for causing shootings in real life since id released Wolfenstein 3D and Doom back in the early 90s.

we still got our epic video game so i think we're fine

Oh look Adventure mode has Very Easy difficulty now. I already swept through 99% of World of Light on Easy difficulty, so let me just start a new save file and see if I'll sweep up the World on Very Easy in an hour.

Personally, I think it's fine. It keeps people from hanging on to their final smashes for WAY TOO LONG while I run away.

My uncle (who coincidentally works at Nintendo) told me who the next DLCs will be!
The second to last one will be Pappy Van Poodle, and for the last one, he said that they were highly considering Steve, but they then decided on a better character,
