Understanding the Help With Scripts Forum

You need to understand that this is a forum that you post ONLY things you need help with that relates to scripts or (I'm not very clear about it but it may have to go under Requests) useful tricks/tips. This post has TWO sections one for the scratcher who NEEDS helping and the other for the one who IS helping.

THESE HAVE NO PARTICULAR ORDER SO DO NOT CHOOSE WHICH ONES NOT TO TAKE SERIOUSLY

Scratcher Who Needs Help

If you are reading this section, this means you are someone who is posting an issue about he/she's project code. Here is a list of things that WILL get your problem solved quicker.

1. Use ALL the grammar you have in you
2. Share your project and have the link in your post
3. Don't be afraid others don't bite
4. Don't advertise instead of asking for help you won't get anywhere
5. EVERYONE makes mistakes so don't be afraid
6. There are mean people out there. TIP: Don't respond, report
7. Be as VIVID as can be
8. If you know some of the code post it in scratch blocks text code (In the top bar with the BLUE scratch block icon)
9. If you're problem was fixed, (To prevent necro-posting (Posting on “dead” conversations)) edit the subject by adding at the end (Solved) or (Fixed)
10. Not getting help? Try to explain it more or meet all of the nine things mentioned

Scratcher Who Is Helping

If you are reading this section, this means that you are someone who is trying/going to help someone in need of help. Here is a list of things that you should do to make your help the best quality it can be!

1. Use ALL the grammar you have in you
2. If you have a project that shows an example of their problem but fixed then post it
3. Use the scratch block text code to show easier solutions (In the top bar with the BLUE scratch block icon)
4. Be as VIVID as can be
5. Don't advertise it won't help the person
6. Some people will post mean things about your script and how it doesn't work. TIP: Don't respond, report
7. Be very careful about how you post your scratch blocks, make sure it works
8. Don't be afraid if someone solves it better than you even though you knew that method, EVERYONE makes mistakes
9. If you have remixed their project and fixed it, link it to your post
10. Don't post a topic that simulates what the forum is for, for example: “Ask Here” or “Need Help, Put Here”
11. If your post doesn't help; see if you met these 10 suggestions

Thank you for reading my post

Nothing Is EVER 100%, that is just an assumption.

Some important links: Here and here or need help click Here. Eats followers, Loves helping people.
My “..” and “…” are not spelling mistakes, it means that they are ways of telling someone that I can continue more about it and that the sentence isn't ended the best way. I like putting new indents and lines so I can split up what I am talking about.

This is good advice for people using the HWS forums. There's just one thing I'd like to point out:

RPFluffy wrote:

1. Use ALL the grammer you have in you

Correct spelling is also helpful. I believe you mean "grammar."

Another thing that you might want to consider adding to the Scratcher Who is Helping section:
Don't create topics that just serve the same purpose as the Help with Scripts forum. (For example, topics like “Need help? Ask here”) Instead, just respond to topics created by people who need help. People will usually get more help by creating a separate topic rather than posting on a separate thread.

Other than that, nice guide!

No I'm just saying that the I in iTopic is usually capitalized, unless there's a difference between iTopic and ITopic.
