Add a whitelist, full of all words in every language, except inappropriate ones. That way, you can have a safe cloud chat that isn't full of missing words!

It's okay, I initially did not know about this announcement, and first heard about it from someone's signature.

I've made a project called “Choice Chat” which avoid whitelists, but instead uses a list of pre-determined messages, so there is no way to abuse the words.

Aren't chats with pre determined messages allowed, since there is no bad words or anything like that?

Even if the Scratch Team didn't ban cloud chat, there would still be a problem: some words are homonyms, and the first meaning is okay for Scratch, while the second one isn't.

The message above may contain wrong information, rude remarks, or something embarrassing to my current self. In this case, please ignore it and remember that I likely wrote it back when I didn't know what “respect” truly meant. I really hate thinking about it again.
