Ape Escape looks like a cute and fun game. But is there a reason why people only really talk about the first game while the other entries are more obscure?

On another note, this is one of the few Sony exclusives that were made in-house rather than made by a company with an exclusivity contract.

I dunno, it might because the sales of the second game are 63k and the first ame sold 1.63 Million copies.

yes, because the D-pad is used for the camera and the right analog is for aiming your gotcha tools.

You use the D-pad for the camera? As someone who's played several modern 3D games, that would definitely feel a bit strange.

And the face buttons only switch items instead of using them like most other games based on what I've heard.

I remember Antdude (at least I think it was him) describe Ape Escape as a glorified Tech Demo for the DualShock controller in his review.

Is this the GameChamp3000 video about the Japan-Only Ape Escape game where you collect pants for them to be washed?

The fact that the face buttons are only for the gotcha tools sucks and aiming with the right stick is hard
