Anyone wanna guess how many pages we’ll have at July 31, 11:59 PM EST? Technically camp ends at midnight in your own time zone but I think it’d be fun to see who can get closest to the actual page number.
Good idea but I have no dang clue lol

I like the competitive aspect of cabin wars.

We should seriously do something like that again. Sci-Fi vs Hi-Fi
and why do we keep getting more cabins
we used to only have 9, now there's 15!

Artistic snipping? I also have a nightmare problem similar to that dude on the Island of Dreams in that one Chronicles of Narnia book, Voyage of the Dawn Treader.'
Okay if the Fi's went head to head I would be totally down,,,
(Although hopefully some cool cabins could team with us!)
As for the Night-Owl Early-Bird Debate, it depends on my mood and I'm okay as long as I get the necessary 7 hrs of sleepp

Thank you for this, I hope that we can all move on from this. It's good to think about another cabin if they're short on something, be it campers or people online or points in general, however it's still a choice. why did I have to say that sksksk

Either way I do agree with your post. I think it's important to remember that even if you do lose a war you gained a ton of words from it, so unless you wrote nothing, you didn't 100% completely lose. Sometimes you get the words and don't lose points, sometimes you get the words and lose the points. Either way, you get the words, right?

Hey- just wondering- for the thing where 2 people write it, do two people have to contribute, or can it be one only? I see some cabins who have one only writing, where some got points off because of that.

Two people must contribute. it is not two max, it is two together. Otherwise… just why lol. Like why would it be there.

okay i know i'm really late because i legit never check the forums, but i agree with sunnyee that the fact that cabin wars put you under a lot of pressure helps you bond with your cabin. as action was put under a lot of pressure the first day, 4 action members agreed to stay up and split their word goal each for each cabin war. we worked together and had good collaboration, even though i didnt know most of the members very well. but we all grew close and tried guarding each others back whenever possible. and i know sometimes you're the only member awake and you'll have to write everything yourself, but that's something you need to work with your teammates on. you need to plan, schedule, and do everything accordingly or things will go in a haphazard way. however, if you collaborate and can interact with your teammates nicely, you'll have no problem unless your active teammates are all in the same timezone (which is a problem for us too, but we're lucky so we were able to wake up on time). do not let swc affect your sleep if you crucially need it, however, staying up to write lately shows your dedication to working together with your cabin.

and no, i did not write all of this to pull off a “sniped” inside joke, this is actually legit. i especially got to spend more time with people like @snowycake, @glassytears, and @-tokyotea- who i didnt really talk to but i got to talk with them more

one of my campers asked if, since the daily has been changed, were the ongoing cabin wars still valid or are they null when the daily was changed?

tysm but i personally dont think its right to credit me. we couldnt have gone so far without everyone else, as @judy27moody, @-tokyotea-, @glassytears, @snowycake, @shortstrawberry, and last but not least, @mistyrain17, have dedicated so much to our cabin. plus this was my 2nd swc ever and so far its really fun to lead, haha

even if this is so, they have to learn to think before they post, because after seeing candy's post, i read through some of their comments and remember this is excluding whatever lizzy said a few pages ago (bc they edited it out). it seemed unfitting to me in that situation. and is sorta what prompted me to attack you. sorry i know it was childish to attack over this but i was kinda triggered (also sorry for lowkey insulting ur cos oops)
Ahh I forgot to mention this earlier, and sorry to call on words by the Scratch Team, but when I was banned they sent me an email reminding me that people of all ages use Scratch, and for some reason that's popping into my head right now. Please don't be too harsh on my cos, they're still pretty young and while they may have a lot to learn, it doesn't mean that those feelings they have are not valid! I know when I was 12 or 13, I was literally the pettiest / most inconsiderate thing in my whole town and was a real jerk to a certain person irl that I really regret now. So compared to me at that age, I think they're doing alright considering the responsibilities and the sense of competition that they have going on!

speaking of said competition, this isn't really related to Sunyee btw, I know some of you have been aggrieved by the lack of competition this SWC. Keep in mind, though, that if you do want more competition, that does often involve being petty and aggressive for many people, so we're going to have to embrace that sort of thing again if we want to go back in that direction as a camp. Otherwise, we keep drifting back to the “take care of yourself” and “it's not about the competition” type of thing that we've been leaning on recently. Because I'm not involved in the structuring of camp, I don't really have an opinion on it, and it's really up to whoever are the host and co-hosts for me. I also haven't been here for very long, so I don't know what the original camp was like >w< Just keep in mind that there are pros and cons to each approach, and that it's also possible to have a combination of both!
it wasn't meant to be harsh, so i'm sorry if it came across as it seemingly did (yeah i dont convey stuff the right way do i) - not sure how young they are but i know that when i was a younger scratcher (idk i think i became active when i was 12? which i suppose is quite old) i probably also made some mistakes. i think they experienced the consequences and it's fine now. at their age (which i assume is around 11-12) they would, as far as i know, start being held responsible for their actions (12+ to be exact). me being only barely older than your co's i obviously compared them to myself and probably forgot that they might be up to 3 years younger than me lol

(oh ringtile i've seen yours btw i just found it fit to respond to only one comment)
