Nambaseking01's Scratch Blog

Hello everyone!

Welcome to another thread by Nambaseking01! Today, I have created my own Scratch blog! A lot of you already know I am a writer and I am trying to write a 300+ page novel! Now, of course I can't post huge stories here — and my blog is on blogger.com is also quite inactive, so I decided to create my own blog on Scratch! I manage to write quite a lot of articles, so you don't have to wait until my story has ended. I will post those articles on here!
Oh, and don't forget about my quotes!

If the articles are inappropriate for Scratch, I won't share them. But yeah, hopefully you enjoy the ones that are here.

Also, if you want to give any ideas about what I should write, give them on this application:

Idea Application

Username:
Type (story/article/quote):
Idea:
Are you following this discussion? (optional):
Have you read my other articles? (optional):

I will read every application, so don't worry!
Oh, and if the article is good and I find any inappropriate words — well, then I will replace it by *WORD REMOVED BY NAMMY*!

ALL NOTICES:

NOTICE #1 - If you want to avoid spoilers from the book The Heroes of Olympus - The Mark of Athena, then I recommend moving to the next pages (when this note is being added there are no other pages, so please wait).

Anyways, thanks for reading the whole main post — hopefully you enjoy my articles!
~Nammy~

P.S. I also post short things like Take a look at this wonderful link! sometimes, so be prepared for some of those — but they will not be added to the directories.
P.S.S There will be bump issues that indirectly suggests you what all you can do to gain more knowledge! Plus, I will giving some notes about my life! Those will come in the directories.
P.S.S Some days I will avoid the bump issues and create quote reviews as well! But those are coming soon…

My first article on this page (not in my life though)! Yay!
Hopefully you enjoy this one! I'll leave you to it.

A Genius Writer and a Tiger Artiste - Nambaseking01

I love Saturdays, and at the same time I also do not love them. Why I love it, is because I have time to create games on my favorite programming languages and also write stories whenever I feel like writing. Why I do not love it is because I have the solfège class in the morning for everything I learn there is not fun. But I can assure you that I like my piano classes more than the solfège classes.

On one such Saturday, my dad came downstairs from his small library in the second floor carrying an English book in his hand - “The Tamil Story”. Its a book full of Tamil short stories translated into English by Subashree Krishnaswamy and edited by Dilip Kumar, who is my dad's favorite writer. It had over eighty Tamil short stories written by great Tamil writers. My dad gave me the book and asked me to read a four-page short story called “Expectation and the Event” written by Ammani Ammal in 1913. The original title in Tamil was “Sankalpamum Sambavamum”.

This review is not about “Expectation and the Event” though. I read another short story written by Ashokamitran in 1973 called “Tiger Artiste”, Puli Kalaignan in Tamil. The story had a sad ending, that is all I could say when I had finished reading it. I ate Kushka and two masala eggs for lunch, and later that week me and my dad discussed about Puli Kalaignan. I also used to read some of the other stories by Ashokamitran with my dad. He was a genius writer who died two years ago in 2017. He was not very famous for his wonderful works, since almost nobody in Tamil Nadu really reads books. My dad told me that the story of Puli Kalaignan could also mean the life of Ashokamitran written differently. At first, I did not understand what my dad meant, but then I understood after thinking for a while.

In this story “Puli Kalaignan”, there was a tiger artist who called himself “Tagar-Foight Kader” went to a film studio and demonstrated Sharma and the casting assistant how incredibly good he was in playing the role as a tiger fighter. Sharma was dumbfounded that he could not even say ‘Besh’ anymore. He told the tiger artist that they will find a role for him soon and offered him money for his performance in front of them. But the tiger artist wanted a role immediately, he did not want the money that Sharma was offering him. Sharma shouted at the tiger artist that he had to take the money and sent the casting assistant with him to make him eat at the canteen. The tiger artist sadly gave Sharma his address requesting him to contact him if they ever wanted to give him a role. He also said that he might move somewhere else soon.

After some days when Sharma needed the tiger artist for a role in his film, he asked his assistant Vellai to bring the Tiger artist. Vellai searched for him everywhere. Alas, he could not find him at all. You will understand what my dad meant after I narrate this next part. His writing skills were as good as the tiger artist’s tiger skills. In the end, such a wonderful writer left this world, and so did the tiger artist, who was not to be seen anywhere. Ashokamitran wanted people to read his books, not money or fame. I and my dad think that Ashokamitran wrote his own life. When we search for Ashokamitran these days after reading his works, we realize he has died two years ago.

I think this story can be matched with anything, not only for a writer. It can be a photographer, a programmer, an ice-skater, or just anything. I felt sad for Ashokamitran after discussing with my dad. He had worked so hard to write great short stories and make Tamil people read them, but all in vain. We pay attention to useless things most of the times, and we never care about the unique talents of such great artists.

Thanks for reading this article, everyone. It’s quite normal that you feel the warmth in your body after reading this.

My message to you all today is - “Pay respect to great artists when you first see them, or else you will realize you need their help after they are gone.”

Another article! Wow, these two are probably going to be the most active ones.
Well, I'll leave you to reading it!

My experiment with a cat - Nambaseking01
Last weekend, the weather outside was rather sunny for the usual cold and cloudy Belgium weather. It is not only humans that enjoy a good weather but also animals. We have our neighbour’s cat that visits our garden whenever the weather is good. I did not know if it has been visiting our garden throughout the winter, but I guessed that it had just come back after a long time to do his usual walking.

When I was observing cat in our garden, our neighbour had just finished doing his cycling and went through the gates of our garden to his house. That was the only way to enter his backyard especially when he wanted to bring his bike. I was spying them through our window. They were casually talking and their dog was looking at the cat through their gate.

When the neighbours had gone inside and the dog was not to be seen anywhere, I started playing with the cat through the window. I knocked on the window and waved at the cat, so it could come towards me. Alas, it did not understand me, but I was just stupidly trying to make it come to me over and over again.

Then I realized what I was doing was really very stupid, so I decided to do an experiment. Firstly, I made sure nobody was around, and I had opened the doors in the hallway so they banged against each other and no one from the other side could see the hall and garden. I stood up and turned around so my back was facing the window, and I showed my butt to the cat. For a moment, it just simply stood there staring at the sudden opening, and then it lazily turned around. I pulled my pant back up and that evening when we were doing our weekly shopping at Leuven, a city in Belgium, I told my parents what I had done.

They immediately laughed but asked me why I had done that. About hundred thousand years ago, tribes were living out in the open without any clothes. They did not feel disgusted to be naked, so I do not understand what the problem is today. Animals do not even mind us being naked; I even doubt they have a word related to ‘naked’ in their language. I heard that cyclists were cycling completely naked in Netherlands once, and in my opinion, they are not so disgusting as you probably find them.

Wearing clothes is no mistake, even I always wear clothes. I think that things that were really casual centuries ago have turned into huge problems these days. Even things that did not exist those days is a huge problem now. Tribes did not even have a something called slavery, but then it became super strong with kings and queens behaving bossy. Nowadays the selfish bosses like criminal heads and politicians love slavery and on the other hand poor people and normal people like us truly dislike slavery.

Also, hold in mind that you need not agree with my philosophies, for you have the rights to say, ‘No, this is incorrect.” and ask questions. My father has told me – or he might have read it somewhere – that it is not the one who can answer questions that is wise, but the one who learns by asking questions.

My message to you all today is, “Always think about the normal life of the old tribes before feeling disgusted on anything artificially created by humans or joining in random protests.”

*An experiment by Nammy*

No poll with this one, I just added it at the last since it was the first! Maybe I will add polls to other articles/quotes? I don't know.
Well, bye!

BUMP ISSUE #1

- I still have some unfinished and unedited articles — they'll be coming out soon!
- I'm currently reading the series of The Heroes of Olympus, which is a sequel series to the Percy Jackson one!
- I went to the library yesterday and there were some activities, like searching for the right pictures and doing an activity at each one and if you do everything you get a gift!
- There was also a reading contest throughout the summer vacation, and I joined! Got to read books fast, I also got some extra ones from the library. And my dad brought tons of new books after his trip to **PERSONAL**.

Yeah right! I am now reading The House of Hades.

I can't believe Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus though. I was so shocked when I was reading that moment…

P.S. I am editing this post after a couple of days to make it cleaner, since I want this thread to be clean. I am going to report restonelasher2010's post asking if the ST wants to edit his quote to the current post here. I am rather concerned about this matter, so I thought I would put it here.

Wow, thanks! I was wondering if someone would have the patience to read those two huge articles.
I wrote an invitation myself for some guests that are coming to my house this weekend — myself. The invitation got so big it does not even look like an invitation anymore.

I read the book back a long time ago, I don't mind the spoliers.

Seems interesting. I'll hang around.
