IS THIS A RARE FONT IN SCRATCH 3.0?
You can get this font here.

It happened when there are costumes that are gray boxes with a ? symbol. No idea how to reproduce this glitch.

Expected Result: Regular costumes.

Actual Result: Glitched costumes with the very rare font.

Please, do not patch this bug Scratch Team!

The new, rare font in Scratch 3.0 is called “'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif.” Just in case you are wondering about the font name.

I'll use this font, although I rarely do use it.

By “it is a bit hard to reproduce” I meant “it is hard to reproduce.”

Just saw it in your project. I've recognised that the name of your weird font is a string of text that would belong to a CSS font-family value, so something like
That code above, if used on an element on a webpage, would result in the text becoming Helvetica Neue, and then if the user didn't have that font installed, it would go to Helvetica, then Arial and then the computer's default sans-serif font.

So you must've done something really weird to get that to happen.

I think I got this font, too. When I type an English text in Japanese (can be Chinese), this font appears.

i think the file for the question mark wasn't made in scratch, and it isnt a bug, scratch just is compatible with different fonts (svg importing is still garbage)

I wonder if that means we could import SVGs from other sites and have them use custom fonts? But this multi-font thing happens because I'm pretty that is the font that the website uses, so they just left it that way. And Scratch doesn't double-check that the font was set to anything outside of the selection that Scratch provided in the font drop-down, so it leaves it as that.

Yes! You can also change the font by opening the SVG in a text editor.
