a way to change usernames

have a button in account settings where you can create a new account, and your projects are automatically sent to it. also the new account becomes a New Scratcher, since apparently skipping ranks on an alt is rejected.

Generation 1. Copy and paste this into your siggy, then increase the generation by 1. Then say you continued the generation on @GullumIncComicz profile and the number of your generation. If your generation was already commented, then remove this from your siggy.

You can download your projects and then upload them to a different account, as for giving your status to another account. Well, that's already rejected. This is the Scratch teams reason for rejecting this:

7.1 Changing usernames
If a user could change his or her username (or even set a certain “nickname”), this could be very confusing for the Scratch community, especially for those following that user. In addition, this would make moderation of the website more difficult because it would be harder for the Scratch Team to keep an eye on what a user may be doing. It could also be hard on the servers. The Scratch Team has allowed username changes only on very rare occasions, such as if the username contained inappropriate or revealing content. Generally the Scratch Team does not change usernames on request (such as “I do not like my current username anymore”).

However, because of the way that usernames are stored on the server, changing the cases of letters in your username (for example, changing @Za-Chary to @ZA-CHARY) is NOT rejected; you can discuss it on this post.
As for skipping new scratcher status:

Although the restrictions for New Scratchers may seem annoying, they are extremely effective against spam and inappropriate content. For New Scratchers who are wondering how to become a Scratcher or what it means to be one, check out this post. The Scratch Team will not allow any accounts can “skip” the New Scratcher status, even if it is an alternate account of an existing account.

I made a game called "The True Ninja". It may sound like a rip-off to @Will_Wams the ninja series but I made it quite a bit different. The second game is out is now out and in my opinion, is much better than the first. Click here to see some other games I made!

I am willing to help, as long as it is in my capability to do so. (I think I am a decent programmer but not the best artist).

When asking help (to me or anyone else), attempt first, if you encounter trouble, that's when you ask help. If I created your scripts, then it would be hard for you to understand what they do. If you attempted but it did not work out, you will at least have an idea of what each script does and it will be easy to identify the modifications that made your script work. TLDR; Try, and ask help if if it does not work out

It's not changing usernames, its creating an alt more easily.

Then maybe change the title of the topic. Still, you can't just skip the new scratcher status.

That's why the OP doesn't say that.

Anyways, it's annoying to create a whole new account and lose all your projects for a username change

If you just want your projects back, you'll have to download all of your projects from your old account and reupload them on your new account. I'm pretty sure that the Scratch Team have said that with a post about making new accounts to “change your username”.

That doesn't transfer the loves and stuff of the project, which is what the suggestion wants.

Infrequently active.

It feels weird to see how far we've come. I hope you're well, wherever you are!
