I can confirm that Lola wins the election! Congratulations! If you would like to, maybe you could write some sort of acceptance speech letting people know what they should expect in the coming weeks/months. You can effectively do everything other than automatically implement laws - you must start a vote to implement laws. Other than that, good luck!

Hello SPA!
I wanted to thank you all for voting me as your president.
First of all I'd like to introduce a new SPA member - my secretary redglitter. As a new SPAineer, please make her feel very welcome.
I'm sure you are all wondering “what's next for SPA?” In the next few weeks, I would like your opinions on our the partnership lists in shops. This is our first challenge together but I think we can all come up with a satisfactory arrangement suiting us all. I would also like to open a Help Hub studio so we can support each other and if you'd like to be a helper there please let me know so we can start it up.
These two are short-term targets and what I'd like to focus on implementing first. In the next few months, you can expect law votes for anything that needs updating for our circumstances. There will also be a restart of the wonderful NSNP along with a rise of a more supportive atmosphere here for everyone.
A few other things will be happening to help increase numbers and activity within our presidential office such as SPA bumps, invites and activity checks. These will be more personal though, shop to shop, with each shop monitored and supported as well as just kept active.

The whole purpose of this is to abolish court. When ShopBux introduced the court, business slowed down. When we removed it, we instantly got a few new people. The point of Scratch isn't to ‘sue’ people, it's to imagine, program and share. Ask, and imagine new possibilities.

As Vice President, I think the moral of this election is that the rules need to be clarified and publicised, or that rules relevant to the election (or what ever the occassion is) should be quoted as part of the announcement.

True. Imo the suing part is only for when people don’t listen to the help when asked to stop. Also, it is mainly for corruption etc. which isn’t exactly something that should be instantly forgiven and not taken into consideration. Eventhough it may never happen, if someone bribed someone with 20 SSB to vote for them or something like that, it’s not as if they should just be left and become the president eventhough they cheated the system to get the role.

However, I do agree that the entire thing should be changed. Maybe we could define that suing is only for serious and repeated incidents in a specific post just about the court. Also, the court is also used for background checks on candidates etc. In major elections with over 10 candidates like our second election, they are also used for background checking candidates to ensure that all of the, are okay people who haven’t been banned lots of times or being toxic often and getting into lots of arguments. We should definitely state that.
