UPDATE IS LIVE. I REPEAT, UPDATE IS LIVE.
And of course, to honor the release of one of the biggest TF2 updates in multiple years, Valve turns off the item servers.
Bravo, Valve.
EDIT: Servers are back up, craft ALL the weapons!

And meh, i only really play as a rocket jumping, slightly loopy sducidal soldier.. but it does get results!

The new update is mostly stupid. Yes the items and taunts are good but what is the point of bread? ITS BREAD THAT DOES NOTHING. What has the tf2 world come to?

The update is one of the biggest things to come to TF2 in years. It includes a 15-minute short film (Expiration Date), a whole lot of new taunts (including a conga line and rock-paper-scissors), 5 NEW WEAPONS, 4 reskins of old weapons (they have exactly the same stats, but now they look like mutant bread), and a bunch of achievements too.

When I was playing Class Wars, one guy showed me the bread Sapper, and said that it looked SO WIERD.(If you're reading this, that means I was successfuly able to log onto Scratch and make this post using my old D.S.I.) How is it the biggest update ever? It doesn't add any new game-play stuff. Programming has more data and content than textures and animations. So I'm pretty sure that the “Scream Fortress” addons and the almighty “Mann vs. Machine” update should all individually be bigger than a simple reskin/taunt update. Are you sure there aren't any new game-modes? A 10th class? Anything else?
