i love DOTD SAHT and EN
(translation: dawn of the dragon, spyro a heroes tale and eternal night.)

I had year of the dragon, that one DS game that wasn't good compared to the others, and Eternal Night. YOTD was the best! I think it might even still work, but I'd rather just get a community made port for PC.

Oh yes, YoTD is definitely the best of the three. None of the other Spyro games exist. Period. Heh.

I used to love the Spyro games.

But everything changed when the fire nation attacked.

Skylanders. Period.

No more real, original Spyro for us. Where did we lose the undeniable charm of the older games that made them so fun and special? Did the developers run out of ideas?

I have three things to say for that.

1. They won't.
2. If they did, there would be a feeding frenzy for the game at the local video game store.
3. Which they obviously are trying to ignore.

And why does every game have TOYS you need to use to progress at a stable rate, or even play?! Things like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh (did I spell that right?) have been around for ages, and I respect that, but what's with Skylanders and Angry Birds GO!, and whatever else coming up the line?!

Just gimmie the stupid game and be done with it, electronics company. Don't pressure me to buy more things to go with it.

i like ripto's rage and spyro the dragon the most

That would be the second game (Ripto's Rage or Gateway to Glimmer depending on your region).

That one's my favorite. It seems to be the biggest of the trilogy. I like to just come back to it and explore for a while

Ah, yes, that was the name. I played that game sooo much when I was a kid. I can still remember flying around that UFO, and exploring the space farm. Good times!

The first three spyro games were INCREDIBLE!! Funny thing was that when i first played it when i was little, I remembered the whole level layout when i was older but frogot everything else. So i used that to my advantage to get the correct ROMs then i spent weeks reserching on how to set up an emulator. (and it worked!)
