Button Amplification Not Working With Sounds
Hmm… just a weird glitch I've encountered. I'm creating a quiz game where the start button increases in size when your mouse hovers over it. It seemed to work perfectly, although with the exact same coding, when I played music in the background, the button would not increase in size when my mouse is hovering above it.

Your video doesn't seem to load. Could you link the project you're referring to?

Sure, I put the sound script in a different sprite and it seemed to work though. Here are some links

Well, it seems like your project worked just fine for me? The button increased in size and nothing wrong happened to the music, and it was also able to accept input. I think this might be a compatibility issue.
Can you please press that globe button in the reply editor so we can see your OS and browser?
Thanks

That thing? Okay, and btw I changed the script in the actual project where I put the music playing in a different sprite. I tried putting the music back into the “Play Button” sprite and the same glitch happened. I've also noticed that this happened in front of other scripts, and that it sort of “cancels out” the next couple scripts in that script. (if that makes sense?) and no, it's not “play until done” it only starts the sound

Still no issues. Something is wrong here. I can do it fine still…
