Most of the things you said only pertain to the “Manager role”. If you don't fully trust the person, then you don't promote them, otherwise, they may ruin the studio.

Of course, I do agree with what you said, I know how people will go out of their way to ruin studios but I maybe you should just invite people who are sincere and whom you trust. I have had experience with people who will repeatedly add and remove their project so it appears at the top and when you tell them about it, they will just apologize and continue doing it.

I don't think a permanent ban should be implemented as the trolls will get contacted by the ST and will learn their lesson. A blacklist for users is unnecessary as long as only people whom you trust are Managers. If people ask to curate, you can just tell them “We are not looking for any more curators, sorry!” so that there are fewer curators and fewer chances that the studio will be attacked.

While it is detrimental to every genuine person in the studio when trolls get their way, I do think that you could take some safety precautions yourself to avoid it from happening.

Again, there are more reasons than just trolls and random promotes. This was the second part of my suggestion, posted later on. It has the list of reasons why, in higher detail and description;
*Studios to raise awareness of things
*Scratchers who are too trusting for their own good
*Managers who don't read blacklists
*Trolls with multiple accounts
*Trolls with mimic accounts
*“I promoted all my friends, but don't want to hurt this guy's feelings”
*Accidental promotions
*___-lovers' studios
*Trolls don't even need to be managers
*Not all problem scratchers are trolls
*Even well-meaning, good-intention scratchers can still cause problems

I have already addressed this comment, so just letting you know.

Also… where is the “report” button for “this guy attacked my studio”? All the report buttons I'VE seen are for inappropriate comments, bio, and projects. I have NEVER of heard a case of ST reprimanding studio trolls.

I agree. O, and for being a bully of some sort. (Sometimes reporting comments isn't enough.)

Woah that's a lot of roles! O_O
Yeah, that would be neat, but then I think we might have to organize the “curators” tab completely, wouldn't we? Anyway, semi-support. I see how this would be useful, but I'm not entirely sure we might need this many roles.

What do you mean? There isn't a set amountage other than the range of 1-10.

Unless it would cause the Scratch Team to redo the ENTIRE studio thing, support.
Think about if Scratch Studios were built with this, and they'd have to delete all studios to make this option.
Other than that, support.

I mean, they already killed our backpacks. What would a simple Thanos-Snap of every studio do?

I don’t think deleting all of the studios would be necessary. It would be a pretty big update, but I don’t think the ST would have to delete all of the current studios.

this is a good idea. but it can cause braging such as Hey! I have this power. it can also be really hard to understand such as 29 new buttons. It would be a good feature. but people may feel disapointed.

@scratch-explored Yeah, but people can do that now anyways. “Hey! I'm manager, and you're just a curator!”

Semi-support.

While some of those could be useful and might tone down a little bit “trolling” and / or vandalizing, there is a reason why there is a popup asking you whether you are sure you want to promote someone to manager. Only promote those who you trust.

Cyber bullying is mean and can hurt someone's feelings, but there are ways to stop it:
1. Ignore, but if they do it again:
2. Report
3. Tell a trusted one
4. Comment: That's not nice
5. Tell another fellow scratcher that is online and is your friend to stand up for you
I also think about cyber bullying without words:
1. Reporting for no random reason
2. Advertising
3. Spamming
4. Someone removing your projects from a studio
5. Removing you as curator or manager from a studio

Yes, support!

I've experienced studio vandalism before, and it really sucks.

We only need 10 more supporters before we have 50! My goal is 100 or more supporters, but if we can hit 50 we will be half way there!

Supporting this, it allows a finer way to control studios. Trust is a really hard thing to determine, you can't just know a person is a troll. Most 8 year olds aren't going to do a background check on a scratcher. Even if you do they may still be a troll. When are you supposed to trust them? Simply saying only to promote them if you trust them, its a weak argument (nothing against you but) that doesn't hold well on the anonymity of the internet. You can never truly trust a person on the web, till you meet them in person then you might actually know what they're like.

Thank you very much! I feel the same way, but have a harder time articulating it! <3
