I've only seen the first movie, so I can't speak for the 2nd, but I would definitely read the books first. The 1st movie was… eh. It wasn't really a bad movie, but when compared to the books it can't really compete. I've heard the 2nd movie is better, but I haven't watched it so you'll want to do some research on your own.

Honestly I didn't realize she had blonde hair until I saw her picture in one of those books about the books. I probably hadn't known what the names for hair colors meant at the time(I read the series in 2nd grade and since I don't own every book I haven't read the whole series since), and had just imagined her with light brown, maybe a little reddish hair.

I don't think it would really work that way. I'm not an expert on metallurgy, but what I do know tells me that bronze, iron, gold, and steel wouldn't really mix.

I do think they should make some bronze cannon and celestial bronze grapeshot and shred monsters with it, but that would involve guns which of course would poison the youth because then you'll have kids wanting to go get concealed carry M1841 6 pound field guns.

Also does anyone else find the comparison of Camp Halfblood and Camp Jupiter hilarious? In camp halfblood, Percy's like “So how come there aren't any adults” and they're like “Oh well none of us ever make it past our mid 20's”, meanwhile camp jupiter has * 3rd generation demigods, meaning that demigods got married, had kids that grew up and got married and had their own kids. The difference between the two camps is like the difference between America and like…Yemen or the Central African Republic or something.

I mean, like, put Celestial bronze as the inner layer, Imperial gold as the second layer from the inside, Stygian iron as the third layer from the inside, and ordinary mortal steel on the outside.

I guess you could do that. I dunno if they'd bond well, but I think you could probably fold them inside of each other or something like they do for japanese katanas. What would be the advantage of mixing them all together though? I know that celestial bronze and imperial gold can't kill mortals and that…I think Luke had a half mortal steel, half godly-metal sword to kill mortals and mythological things.
