@hellounicorns2-for the northern part of America, is very late June to very early September. In the southern part of America, it’s slate May to early August. However, there are some schools hat are year round and have breaks every ten weeks.

Ok, thanks. Australian schools have breaks every ten weeks and they all go for 2 weeks other than over Christmas/summer when we get a 6 week holiday.

Currently adjusting laws to be more fit for the current state of the SPA. I will archive the current laws and if anyone disagrees with a certain change then I will change it back temporarily and put it up for debate what we should do with it.

Welcome back, everyone else in the SPA! There have been 6 pages of activity since I last logged in; can someone give me a rundown of what's going on now? Specifically what the judges have to do, unless I failed an activity check.

I have only been back for the last two, so I can’t help but pretty much we’re back and anyone who posts here soonish gets their position back.





Also a quick note on future plans: I read through some of our history to work out what we will need to improve on if we return to our former size. The long partners list has been fixed by just having a simple banner to put in your partnership section. New shops getting drowned down on the list has been 50/50 fixed by having the sections for ‘Featured Shop’, ‘Newest Member’ and ‘Up And Coming Shop Of The Week’.

Also, on the issue of the president not having enough roles, I’m considering giving the job of choosing featured shops etc. and adding shops to our members list to the president’s roles. Also, if anyone would be interested in making the laws more formal, exact and third person then they are free to help with that as I began it but decided it would be a good idea to leave that to our members (I’m totally not too lazy).

I’m thinking we could do an election 20 June, if of course we gain more *active* members. I want lots of people running to provide for healthy competition, as we want a good leader for 3 months. I encourage people seeking a role as president to think of laws as one of the fundamental things that the president must do is propose laws.

I forgot Shop Representatives, it would really be appreciated if people could provide their opinions on how we should do that (equal representation, based on members or based on members)
