My protogen, Daft. The symbol on his…joints, I guess? Will be the white part of this.
Used a base because the species is hard to draw for me, especially the digitigrade legs and drawing the visor from different angles. Hope to draw him for real soon, though. He has a voice like a vocoder and likes to dance. And he may or may not be based on a pair of French robots.

I like them but at the same time I don’t.

Though if a “closed species” is more something to do with a story of yours I think it’s okay. Like if that’s the species in your story and only you make them I think it’s fine, (hope you understand what I mean)
