That's just the guidelines of the forums, simple as that. That's like saying:

Change the Suggestions Forums

General discussions about animals don't belong in the “Suggestions” forums because they are not suggestions. Similarly, general discussions about animals don't belong in the “Things I'm Reading and Playing” forums because they are not things that you read or play.

That's not at all related, but they could change the name to “Inspiring Things” or something.

I disagree. That could quickly turn into an off-topic forum, which is rejected.

Even if the same stuff is allowed and not allowed, this would just make more work for the Scratch Team since there would be more off-topic posts. (For example, one could argue that eggs are “inspiring.”)
