Um, I want to do a recording on scratch…but whenever I record my voice, or ANYTHING, it sounds like a weird robot and it sounds horrible. I really need help! I'm doing the recordings on my tablet, could that be the problem?

By any chance are you using Safari or Chrome browser? There's a known issue where using either one of those two browsers result in demon robot voice output.

It might be the microphone on your tablet. Try it on a pc if possible.

I'll check on my microphone on my tablet. If it's the tablets fault, I can always use the microphone in my brother's room.

I have that same problem, I do recordings on my tablet so my recorded noises are limited to creepy robot sounds.

It's either an issue with your recording software or the microphone itself. What software are you using?

I'm just clicking the record button on scratch and it let's me record stuff, I tried some voice recorder apps, but the audio files are taking all eternity to load.

Oof, yes. I have another tablet, but that one lags a ton, and I have to charge it, which takes a long time.
