Exactly, and that's what's making it harder. The design change
Not really. You'll get used to it, don't focus too much on the looks.
dang, why am i getting so much hate? not even reasoning, just hate
How is this “hate”???? I'm nowhere being even rude! It seems that when I don't agree with someone, they immediately take it as “hate”. I'm not hating, I'm just saying that it's not because the new GUI is different that Scratch is any harder / easier.

WHAT THA, THE OP IS NOT SUGGESTING TO DEVIDE THE COMMUNITY, BUT TO JUST MAKE TWO EDITORS FOR WHAT PEOPLE PREFER.

I mean, like why doesn't scratch make a “pro/for older ages” editor
Isn't that dividing the community, kinda? Why would there be 2 Scratchs anyways?
I agrre with NilsTheBest. It's nowhere close to hate saying “Not really. You'll get used to it, don't focus too much on the looks.” Just because you disagree with someone's opinion dosen't mean that it's hate.

I do not think that is hate; however, there is a difference between saying your opinion straight up and being polite and kind about it.

So I just saw this project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/266213901/ and it was “What Famous Scratchers Think About Scratch 3.0” I've noticed that MANY programmers do not like the new editor, and here is why. Scratch is going for much younger audiences than they were before I feel like. The blocks are bigger, there is now a “Wacky” section in the sound library, and all in all its easier to use for younger kids. However, there are many older and more serious scratchers out there such as me, griffpatch, and many others. I mean, like why doesn't scratch make a “pro/for older ages” editor, then another version more for kids and more like the new scratch 3.0. I thought that's what Scratch Jr was, a editor that is for younger age groups. If you want to support me in this argument, please post forums and do whatever you can to convince the scratch team. Thanks so much!!!!
I understand your point but I think that the editor looks good as is, the blocks are a little bit to big but you can just shrink the size your browser shows if you want (command and - on a mac and command and + to make it bigger)
