Question About Selling a Scratch Game
Hey everyone. I have been looking for the answer to this question but I am still confused. I was wondering if we are allowed to make projects on scratch and sell them on other platforms, such as steam. It is my understanding that as long as you do not share your project on scratch, it does not apply to the software license that prohibits selling open source software. And if you do share the project to scratch, then you can no longer sell that project. Is this correct? If not, can someone please explain to me how the licensing works as far as publishing projects for profit. Thank you in advance!

Question About Selling a Scratch Game
You are permitted to use Scratch projects commercially. Projects on the Scratch website are shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. That means when people get your project from the Scratch website, they can use it provided they give you credit. If you don't put it on the website though, it doesn't go under that license.
Can I sell my Scratch projects?
Yes: Your Scratch project is your creation. But keep in mind that once you share your project on the Scratch website, everyone is free to download, remix, and reuse the project based on the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. So if you intend to sell your project, you may want to un-share it from the Scratch website.
