Because I didn't get a Switch until 2018 and I traded Smash Ultimate towards Mario Odyssey.

They're both great games, but if I had to pick one or the other, I would've gone for Smash Ultimate

I couldn't find the regular Mario Topic, so I'll post this here.

Idea for new captures if they make Super Mario Odyssey 2:

Bob-omb: Explodes after a short amount of time or when you activate the explosion manually.
Boo: Become invisible to phase through grates and obstacles; other Boos won't attack you in this form.
Boomerang Bro: Throw a Boomerang in a straight line to attack enemies and/or cut ropes.
Koopa Troopa: Spin around using your shell for a boost of speed; you can bounce off walls, defeat enemies, and break bricks, too.
Drone Pilot: Like with the RC Car guy, you'll be able to fly a drone around; opening up new paths, puzzles, and challenges to complete.
Pokey: Travel across quicksand with no problem, dig up buried items, and dash around the sand.
