Type for making your own block like in discussions
Bump!
Hey, Scratch! I have a suggestion. When we make our own blocks, we should be able to make them like how we do it in discussion forums. There would be many different options than there would the way now. I can't make and define this:
With this added to scratch, it would be slightly more difficult, but it would give many more options. Thank you!

Are you suggesting to code in Scratch using text? If so, that has been rejected by the Scratch Team.
2.2 Text-based coding in Scratch
Some users wish to code Scratch not with the blocks, but with typing code instead (similar to how more advanced programming languages work). However, the Scratch Team has discussed this possibility multiple times and has decided every time that it would not be beneficial for beginners or for teachers.
One amazing thing about block-based programming is that syntax errors largely do not exist. Text-based programming would indeed introduce syntax errors which younger users might not understand.
This suggestion extends to coding Scratch in any text, including BBCode, Javascript, some form of pseudocode, or some other programming language. If you wish to code using Javascript, for instance, then you can learn Javascript on your own; but it would have to be done outside of Scratch.

Or maybe you just want more options for custom blocks.
If so, semi-support.
It would indeed be very nice, but what would the example that you gave even do? Blocks like that would be able to be created, and mght not even have any meaning.
Or is it just like text, I suppose, and doesn't do anything?
I'm really tired, sorry if I misunderstood your suggestion. I should try again tomorrow.
