That's actually a really hard question. For music/choices, I would say Undertale, but for characters/story(so far), I would say Deltarune. Both are really good. Love them both.

Deltarune.
1. I haven't played Undertale (I would but I spoiled the whole thing online)
2. Deltarune has more personality.
3. Ironically, Undertale feels kind of lonely. Deltarune doesn't because of the multiple party members who talk with each other frequently.
4. I really, REALLY, REALLY do not like the Amalgamates. When I first saw them, I was freaked out for like a week.

undertale, i don't even know why this is a question. deltarune is literally just a demo, i can see the final game being better but at this point it's too short to be anything more than a really fun and likeable little game. toby's def improved on the gameplay though, i already find undertale to be a rare case of fun turn based combat, but deltarune does a much better job at integrating it with the story and has a much more polished UI. story and character-wise it's much weaker but like i said it's just a demo, it's about the same quality as the beginning of undertale was. looking forward to how the story gets developed further

I Disagree. Deltarune Is Not A Demo. Its Just In Different Chapters. That Does Not Make It A Demo. I've Never Seen ANYBODY Call It A “Demo”

It’s basically what a demo is: a free portion of a full game that costs money. (Every chapter of Deltarune will be released as one game)

Undertale, because you can have different endings.

Also Papyrus is in it.

This can only really be a fair comparison once the full Deltarune game comes out

Either that or we could compare the Deltarune Demo to the Undertale Demo

I haven't played Deltarune yet because it isn't available on Xbox, so I don't know but right now I would say undertale
